Miss Sloane Trailer: Forget Frank Underwood, Welcome to House of Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain is one of Hollywood’s most talented actors, especially in the very specific role of “badass yelling at people in Washington, D.C.� (see Zero Dark Thirty). In Miss Sloane, she’s back at it in the ol’  beltway way as a lobbyist who will stop at nothing to get the gun legislation she wants. John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) directed the film, while Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alison Pill, Jake Lacy, Sam Waterston, and John Lithgow fill out the rest of the cast. Miss Sloane comes out December 9. Get ready for pantsuits that say “this movie’ll be fun,� and cheekbones that scream “but also Oscar bait.�
