Good afternoon, Upper East Siders. Bravo has announced it has renewed the Jill Kargman–fronted series Odd Mom Out for a third season, with a ten-episode order expected to begin filming in the spring of next year. The scripted comedy chronicles a satirical version of Kargman as she attempts to navigate and fit in with the pretentious mothers of Manhattan’s most exclusive neighborhood, to various results. “Laughter is the key for me,†Kargman said at last year’s Vulture Festival. “This is not trying to do a study on a neighborhood or send up a particular petri dish of a world. It’s really just to make people laugh. That’s my only hope.†So, maybe not totally Gossip Girl for adults, then.
