Orange Is the New Black’s Brad William Henke joins Will Smith and Joel Edgerton in Netflix’s Bright, Variety reports. Noomi Rapace and Lucy Fry will also star. Suicide Squad’s David Ayer will direct the film, which is budgeted at $90 million, and it is Netflix’s most expensive film to date. Bright follows a human, played by Smith, and an orc, played by Edgerton, who must outrun cops, criminals, and some fantastic creatures to protect a magical wand. Henke, reprising his role as terrifying leader, will play Dorghu, the head of the Fogteeth Orcs gang. While Dorghu used to be reasonable, he has seen how the cops oppress his race, and would rather dish out the punishment himself. Bright, written by Max Landis, is expected to begin production sometime this fall, with Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman producing.
