This Thursday, Christopher Guest’s mockumentary Mascots will hit Netflix and select theaters. But until then, enjoy Ed Begley Jr. reminiscing about the glory days as Danny the Donkey. Although now a competition judge, A.J. Blumquist (Begley Jr.) was once the great Danny the Donkey, and “for the two people that don’t know,†he was the first to have an anatomically correct costume. While that costume lasted only one game, Blumquist gained quite the following, and after a lot of personal growth, is finally able to admit that he is indeed “phallically challenged.†Watch the full trailer here.
