We’ve known for a while now that Amber Heard will be portraying the badass aquatic beauty Mera in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League — and later, the solo Aquaman — but now we’ve been blessed with an official first look of the reigning queen of Atlantis. As teased on the official Justice League Twitter account, Heard will be donning a green scaly ensemble for the role, complete with pointy regal headgear. “It’s interesting,†Heard said a few months ago about the costume. “I’m wearing a half suit of armor, half scales, I dunno — it’s strange, it’s strange.†Strange? Nah. Fantastic? Absolutely.
