Oh, so it turns out this guy is pretty good at this. A lesser Manuel might have been crushed under the weight of a topical musical monologue that combines Hamilton’s “My Shot,†Donald Trump and a lyrical homage to the legacy of Saturday Night Live. Despite the heft of the bit, Lin-Manuel Miranda makes it look like walk in a Weehawken park, and not even one that ends with a homicidal duel or a fatal abdominal injury.
