Brad Pitt has been cleared of all child-abuse allegations, according to new reports from Us Weekly and TMZ. The actor had been under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services since shortly after a family dispute on a private jet at the end of September, which led to Pitt and Angelina Jolie entering divorce negotiations and a custody battle for their six kids. It was alleged that Pitt physically harmed his adopted son, Maddox, during a disagreement, and investigators subsequently interviewed each of the children as well as witnesses on the plane to determine what happened. According to TMZ, the DCFS did not find evidence to support either the abuse claims or the alleged pattern of misconduct between him and the children. It was previously reported that the couple had reached a custody agreement, but that battle is rumored to still be ongoing.
