Conan O’Brien’s week of shows in New York City kicked off on TBS last night, and before he did his first show at the Apollo, O’Brien decided to explore the neighborhood and make some new friends. After wandering the streets of Harlem, checking out some bootleg CDs, buying a custom “Gluten Free†hat, and getting his hair braided, ultimately it’s Viviane who becomes O’Brien’s favorite new Harlem neighbor, so he invited her to the taping to show off her singing skills:
