Jon Stewart Looks Back on His Twitter War with Donald ‘Fuckface von Clownstick’ Trump

The 10th annual Stand Up For Heroes benefit took place in New York last night, and since it was exactly one week before Election Day, Jon Stewart took to the stage and reflected on his bizarre 2013 Twitter war with Donald Trump, who referred to Stewart as “Jonathan Leibowitz� and called him overrated and not “proud of his heritage.� “So I start to think to myself, like, ‘Oh, I think this guy’s trying to let people know I’m a Jew.’ And I think to myself, like, ‘Doesn’t my face do that?’� After several more tweets from Trump, The Daily Show’s Twitter account decided to finally respond by tweeting that Trump’s real name is “Fuckface von Clownstick.� “Four days later, I shit you not, perhaps the next president of the greatest country in the world, at 1:30 in the morning, tweeted, ‘Little Jon Stewart is a pussy and would be hopeless in a debate with me,’� Stewart says. “Vote wisely this November.�
