Following the gut punch that was Hillary Clinton’s defeat to Donald Trump in the presidential election and Clinton’s tearful concession speech, President Barack Obama urged the nation to stay encouraged and interested in politics, and to unite following a uniquely divisive campaign season. “A peaceful transition of power is one of the hallmarks of our democracy, and over the next few months, we are going to show that to the world,†Obama said. “We all want what’s best for this country.†Watch the full speech below.
