The Zookeeeper’s Wife is about the classic battle between things that are unequivocally evil (people who commit mass genocide in the name of corrupt ideology) and things that are unequivocally good (bunnies). The film, directed by Niki Caro, stars Jessica Chastain as the titular zookeeper’s wife, who is having a very nice time with her accent in 1930s Poland until the Nazis come along and muck everything up. Johan Heldenbergh plays the zookeeper. Daniel Brühl plays his umpteenth Nazi. The bunny stars as itself.
