Judging by the new four-minute “prologue†for Alien: Covenant released Wednesday, Ridley Scott’s new movie is just going to be a fun buddy comedy in space. The whole spaceship gang, from Katherine Waterston to Michael Fassbender’s eerie robot, are just having themselves a good time on their colonization mission. But wait, James Franco’s pilot is mysteriously ill, and you know what that means: Something’s definitely going to go very, very wrong. Alien: Covenant premieres May 19. If you never see it, you can pretend it was just The Big Chill in space.
