Bob Dylan is finally heading to Stockholm. Dylan won the Nobel Prize for Literature last year, and then ducked out of the award ceremony, though he did write an acceptance speech. Since the reclusive singer-songwriter is performing in Stockholm this weekend, he plans to meet with the Swedish Academy there to receive his Nobel medal and diploma, according to a post from permanent secretary Sara Danius. The academy members, delightfully, also plan to go to one of his concerts. In order to receive the 8 million in kroner (or roughly $900,000) monetary reward, Dylan is also required to present a lecture to the Academy before this June; in true Dylan fashion, Danius says the singer is expected to present a taped lecture at a later date.
