That long-delayed Law & Order: SVU epsiode inspired by Donald Trumpâs presidential run might not even be worth it, Ice-T says. The longtime SVU star told Vanity Fair that the episode â which has now been postponed three times â isnât the seriesâ best work. âI donât even think itâs worth showing,â Ice-T said. âIt wasnât one of our best shows.â Initially announced before Trumpâs presidential victory, the episode starred Gary Cole as a moneyman turned presidential candidate who was accused of rape by several women at the height of his campaign. Even though Ice-T said the episode isnât worth airing, he did share the endingâs big twist: âThere was this guy who was running for president â he was very Trump-ish, and girls were coming out of the woodwork saying he was raping them,â Ice-T said. âAnd me and Mariska [Hargitay], weâre on his bumper, and heâs sweating it. But at the end of the day, it comes out that he was innocent. He didnât do it. So weâve got to apologize, and heâs still doing his thing, talking his shit. And it turns out that his campaign adviser, who was his best friend, was booby-trapping him because he knew he would be terrible for America!â Though the episode seems to have been completed, the SVU star doubts it will air since its premise was too close to headlines from months ago. âTo put it out now, itâs old and stuff,â he told Vanity Fair. âSo I think they just got rid of it. I donât know if they burned the shit or whatever. They paid me for it. I donât give a fuck, really. I got my money!â Trump or no Trump, donât hate the playa, hate the game â thereâs sure to be plenty of POTUS fodder for NBCâs lineup in the future.
