David Fincher’s Mindhunter Trailer: Just Like House of Cards, But With Actual Serial Killers

With a blood inkblot (bloodblot?), the trailer for David Fincher’s new Netflix series has arrived. Mindhunter follows an FBI agent (played by Looking’s Jonathan Groff) developing profiling techniques to help solve crimes by interviewing serial killers. Fincher’s second Netflix show (which he’s executive producing with Charlize Theron) looks a oddly similar to House of Cards, which he helped launch. The trailer features dimly-lit offices, cunnilingus, and semi-threatening lines that sound menacing but don’t make a lot of sense out of context (“You want truffles? You gotta get in the dirt with the pigs.�) Start solving Mindhunter’s mystery when it comes to Netflix in October.
