Stephen Colbert will be joined by a bunch of his fellow Daily Show alums on The Late Show next week. CBS just announced that next Tuesday, May 9th, The Late Show will air a “special episode†featuring Colbert alongside Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Ed Helms, Rob Corddry, and Late Show co-executive producer Jon Stewart. Notably absent is Colbert’s former Daily Show collaborator and “Even Stevphen†partner Steve Carell. That seems like a pretty glaring omission for a Colbert-fronted Daily Show reunion, but Carell has a history of making surprise appearances at big TV reunion events, so we’ll have to wait until next week to see what happens.
