Now that Jordan Klepper is about to get his own Comedy Central late night show, The Daily Show has hired a brand new correspondent to its team. Comedy Central announced today that Michael Kosta has joined the show as its newest correspondent, and he will make his debut during tonight’s episode. Kosta previously starred in his own Comedy Central standup special in 2011 and co-hosted Fox Sports 1’s Crowd Goes Wild, and more recently he starred in Comedy Central’s Snapchat series Worst Birthday (based on his podcast of the same name) and co-executive produced/hosted The Comment Section on E! He’s performed standup on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, and Late Night with Seth Meyers, and he’s slated to appear on the upcoming season of This Is Not Happening with new host and fellow Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. debuting sometime in the fall.
