Earlier this year, Netflix announced that it ordered two standup specials from Jerry Seinfeld, and the title and premiere date for the first special were revealed today. Titled Jerry Before Seinfeld, the first hourlong special was taped at The Comic Strip in New York, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, it includes some of Seinfeld’s earliest material as well as “never-before-seen material including an extensive library of legal pads containing every joke Seinfeld has written since 1975, as well as childhood videos.†The special debuts on Tuesday, September 19th.
