Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look†at the fallout since Trump defended white supremacists and Neo-Nazis earlier this week and how his supporters and those in his administration have either responded to his comments only privately or completely distanced themselves (notably, Meyers points out that Ivanka Trump in Jared Kushner have suspiciously been away on vacation every time something goes wrong with Trump). One supporter who wasn’t afraid to respond on the record is chief strategist (and one of the White House’s top white supremacists) Steve Bannon, whose job in the Trump administration is reportedly in jeopardy. “No one disproves the idea that white people are a master race more than Steve Bannon. Look at him – if he tried to do a Nazi salute he’d throw his back out. He looks like the discarded skin suit used by the alien from Men in Black,†Meyers says.
