The writers behind the 2014 movie Search Party have a show in the works at NBC. According to Deadline, the network is developing a single-cam series from Michael Gagerman and Andrew Waller called Sour Mash. The family workplace comedy follows “a brilliant Latina chemist from Brooklyn with a passion for making bourbon who is tapped to become the master distiller at a failing family-owned distillery in Kentucky. She finds that making great bourbon is easy compared to dealing with the eccentric family that hired her.†Gagerman and Waller will also serve as co-executive producers.
