Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look†at how Trump responded to Hurricane Irma and EPA head Scott Pruitt saying that now is not the time to talk climate change – as if there’d be a better time than in the wake of two hurricanes hitting the US within a month: “That’s like crashing your car into a telephone pole and telling the cops, ‘This is not the time to talk about my drinking problem!’†Meyers also recaps Trump’s recent deal with Democrats on the debt ceiling that Republicans aren’t so happy about, which led to a round of articles praising him as independent. “Could we just stop with this absurd talking point? Donald Trump is not an independent. The only thing he’s independent of is reality,†Meyers says before moving on to Steve Bannon’s recent 60 Minutes interview, where he referred to when the infamous Access Hollywood tape came out as “Billy Bush Weekend.†“Why do they keep saying ‘Billy Bush Weekend’? It’s not a holiday. ‘Gather round, children! Can you hear it? It’s the sound of the Access Hollywood bus! Billy Bush Weekend is here!’â€
