Watch the Series Premiere of ABC’s New Sitcom ‘The Mayor’ Early

ABC wants to give viewers a head start with its new comedy The Mayor. Ordered to series back in May, the show officially debuts on Tuesday, October 3rd, but the network released the full pilot online this week. The series is executive produced by Daveed Diggs and centers on a young rapper named Courtney Rose (Brandon Micheal Hall) who “cooks up the publicity stunt of the century – running for mayor of his hometown to generate buzz for his music career. Unfortunately for Courtney, his master plan goes wildly awry, ending in the most terrifying of outcomes: an election victory.” Lea Michele and Yvette Nicole Brown also star in the show alongside Hall.
