CBS wants more Young Sheldon. According to Variety, the network has officially renewed the spin-off prequel series for a second season to debut sometime during the 2018-2019 broadcast season. The show was given a series order back in March 2017, debuted in late September, and currently airs Thursday nights at 8:30pm. The show has been a huge success in the ratings and is currently #2 comedy on television behind The Big Bang Theory.
