Bill Hader heads to HBO next month with his very own show, Barry, and the network recently dropped a new trailer. Ordered to series back in 2016, the show stars Hader alongside Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Carrigan, and Henry Winkler. Hader plays “a low-rent hitman in the Midwest†who “begrudgingly travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theater scene.†The series – which Hader co-wrote, directed, and produced alongside writer/producer Alec Berg – debuts on HBO Sunday, March 25th at 10:30pm.
