John Mulaney and Nick Kroll Insist They Haven’t Changed at All on ‘Conan’

John Mulaney and Nick Kroll were guests on last night’s Conan, and if the clip above is any indication, they definitely haven’t changed at all. Of course, there are just a few exceptions to that – Mulaney now has two kids named Bowie and Seeso (“Did I liquidate Seeso’s college fund to buy Charles Manson’s skull? Of course! That doesn’t mean I’m different!”), both of them vape now, they’ve started a band called 72 Seconds to Uranus, they’re hosting a Vice show called Oh Look We Actually Did It, they’re investors in THC baby massage oil, they dress in a style they call “steampunk-meets-pirate,” and they now think regular jokes are too mean and have evolved into telling what they call tantric jokes (“Tantric jokes – they go on and on forever, and there’s really no punchline at any point.” “But, much like tantric sex, it’s the same mess at the end”). “You’re some of the coolest guys I’ve talked to in a while,” O’Brien tells them. “Oh, we’re just blessed to be this humble!” Kroll says.
