Meek Mill has fans in both Philly and abroad, including even Slovenia. During last night’s Olympic qualifying round for the men’s half-pipe, 19-year-old Slovenian snowboarder Tit Stante publicly stanned for Meek without saying a word. Following his run, he picked up his board and on the bottom was Sharpied a message for the rapper, but also, the Philadelphia justice system: #FreeMeekMill. You’ll recall Meek has been jailed for months for violating probation, a controversial decision on the judge’s part that has sparked a wave of backlash and, briefly, a federal investigation. Stante didn’t qualify, but he’s gold in our hearts.
