Taran Killam, Leighton Meester, and Brad Garrett have joined the cast of a comedy pilot in the works at ABC. According to Variety, the three have signed on to star in Single Parents, which was ordered by the network last month. The single-cam project, which is created by New Girl’s Liz Meriwether and J.J. Philbin, centers on “three single parents who lean on one another as they raise their children and pursue romantic relationships.†In addition to Single Parents, Meriwether has two Fox comedy pilots in the works: Bless This Mess starring Lake Bell and Daddy Issues starring Erin Foster.
