Thursday, March 8, marks the 107th official International Women’s Day, and though we’ve taken many important steps toward equality since 1911, there’s still a ways to go. For more than a century, women have been taking to the streets with wooden posts and giant signs, fighting for everything from maternity benefits to the end of violence against women. Before you head out for this year’s marches, get some inspiration from these signs from previous Women’s Day protests all over the world.
