Just a couple months after Amazon canceled her series One Mississippi, Tig Notaro has a brand new standup special heading to Netflix next month. Titled Happy to Be Here, the special was filmed at the Heights Theater in Houston, counts Ellen DeGeneres as an executive producer, and makes its Netflix debut on Tuesday, May 22nd. Notaro also directed the special and serves as an executive producer. Notaro’s last special, Boyish Girl Interrupted, aired on HBO back in 2015 the same year her documentary Tig premiered on Netflix.
