All the Looks From the VMAs Red Carpet

The MTV VMAs 2018 red carpet is the place to let loose. The Video Music Awards have given us some of the best, craziest fashion since the ’80s: Madonna debuted her “Like a Virgin” look on the VMAs red carpet, and Rose McGowan’s naked dress shared the spotlight with Gwen Stefani’s blue space buns in 1998. More recently, Miley Cyrus’s most controversial style phase reached its zenith back in 2013.

Maybe in years to come we’ll look back at Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson in the early days of their relationship only to think, “Wow, remember when so many young male celebs were bleaching their hair?” Or perhaps we’ll remember nostalgically how cute Asahd Khaled was in 2018. Michael Avenatti — Stormy Daniels’s lawyer — will not become a red carpet regular … probably.

In addition to the odd guest list, there is a range of looks ranging from the tasteful to the … bold. Cardi B stunned in purple velvet fit for a queen, Millie Bobby Brown had a successful experiment with feathers, and Spencer and Heidi Pratt’s baby made his VMA red-carpet debut.
