All The Best Looks at the Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
For celebrities in New York City, there were only two places to be last night: out celebrating Ralph Lauren’s 50th anniversary, or partying with Harper’s Bazaar at its annual ICONS by Carine Roitfeld party. The event celebrates the ICONS issue of the magazine, and it’s known for the high-glamour red carpet that precedes it. Last night’s did not disappoint — there was lots of red, lots of sequins, and lots of long, long trains. However, the most memorable part of the night happened inside the event, where a shoe was allegedly thrown in a high-profile brawl between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.
Cardi wore an elaborate red Dolce & Gabbana gown, while Nicki was in leopard-print. Bella Hadid wore a nude catsuit. Kendall Jenner looked like Edward Scissorhands (but make it fashion). Paris Hilton looked straight out of the 2000s, as per usual, but this time she opted for a more Panic! At The Disco stan look rather than something traditionally “hot.” Many Victoria’s Secret Angels past and present showed up — including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Josephine Skriver, and Stella Maxwell.
Christie Brinkley took a bottle of champagne on the red carpet with her, in lieu of a clutch. Jeremy Scott wore his second political shirt of the week, reading “I am a Voter.” (For the finale of his Spring 2019 show on Thursday, he wore a shirt urging people to call their senators about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.)
