The Best, Most Stylish Moments at Art Basel Miami Beach
Dressing for Miami weather can be a bit of a challenge. You’ve got the heat to contend with so you don’t want to be too bundled up, but chances are you’re going to spend most of your time in extremely well air-conditioned spaces, anyway. Then there’s the humidity, which will no doubt make your hair ten times bigger and your foundation melt right off. Plus, of course, you’re going to need to stand out. In a city of bright colors and big personalities, that might be the biggest challenge of them all — especially during Art Basel, where everyone is dressed to impress.
So celebrities, artist, models, buyers, and whoever else comes to the annual art fair have their work cut out for them. And this year, they did not disappoint. On Tuesday night, artist Raúl de Nieves stole the show in his red devil Vaquera outfit, which he wore to the Bulgari x Art Production fund dinner. On Wednesday, just a day after announcing her split with Offset and entering the baby-picture phase, Cardi B arrived at the club with rainbow hair and showed everyone how it’s done. And on Thursday, Kanye West made an appearance at the Prada club in his own version of a Grateful Dead T-shirt, while Tessa Thomson appeared at a Bombay Sapphire event in yellow ruffles.
