Carly Rae Jepsen is back, and just like you need her to she’s serving you mid-tempo longing and up-tempo declarations of love and bouncing synths and summer jams arriving early enough to cut through that winter chill. The spritely pop star has vowed that a new album is on the way this year, and she’s just released a pair of singles, “Now That I Found You†(which recently appeared in some Queer Eye promo material) and “No Drug Like Me.†Of the pair of songs, Jepsen says, “‘Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life. It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug.
