Is it possible that Anne Hathaway signed up for this movie just so she could have fun doing an overwrought British accent? Very likely. In The Hustle, a gender-switched remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hathaway plays a fancy con artist who takes Rebel Wilson under her glamorous wing to pull off various schemes against rich men. Previously the roles have been played by Michael Caine and Steve Martin in 1988, and by David Niven and Marlon Brando in 1964 before that in the original Bedtime Story. In this version, there are many outlandish outfits and even more pratfalls. The Hustle premieres May 10.
