If you like your murder mysteries star-studded, then you are in luck! Letitia Wright has joined the already peerless (and poreless) cast for Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile. Another Inspector Poirot caper, Nile moves the locked-room-mystery antics to a boat on the Nile instead of a train in the mountains. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Wright will play Rosalie Otterbourne, a lead suspect in the story, which follows Poirot as he attempts to unravel the murder of a young heiress while on vacation in Egypt.†Olivia Hussey played the role in the 1978 film version, and Zoe Telford played her in the Suchet TV-movie adaptation. Agatha Christie wrote a Poirot for every means of transport. If Branagh continues his pattern, the next movie will be an adaptation of Death in the Clouds and will star as many comic-book movie stars as he can cram into a fuselage.
