The Affordable Art Fair can sometimes feel like a bit of a misnomer: Prints can run as high as $10,000. But they can also be as low as $100, and last Saturday, art lovers of all ages and tax brackets came out to the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea to see artwork from galleries around the world.
The fair takes place twice a year in March and September, and on a sunny, warm-for-March day, it attracted a range of families, couples, cool downtown kids, and students alike — some of them dressed creatively enough to rival the art. The Cut stopped some of these scene-stealers to ask one question: If you could possess any artistic skill that you don’t already have, what would it be?
