It truly must be such a glamorous life, being a late-night comedy writer: making up bits for celebrities, going to the Emmys, and, of course, watching seven hours of congressional testimony by Robert Mueller. But let’s not get too jealous now, okay? Let’s appreciate the fact that we didn’t have to watch a full workday’s worth of this, because the good people at Late Night With Seth Meyers clearly did. This “A Closer Look†segment gives us all the info we’ll need to make it through a conversation: Trump wasn’t cleared of obstruction despite writing that in all caps, the president could be charged with a crime after he leaves office, and there was a lot of fast talking. See? You’re all caught up.
