Vulture’s review of the Amazon anthology series Modern Love said it “favors emotional manipulation over emotional truth,†but enough people apparently liked it to get the show a second season. The streaming studio announced today that it wants more stories inspired by the New York Times column of the same name, and Love did give us a whole parade of talented and good looking stars — hello Dev Patel, Tina Fey, Sharon Horgan, Anne Hathaway, Gary Carr, and so on — so that’s good. Hopefully we see lots more of that in season two.
