During last nightâs Late Night, Seth Meyers welcomed back writers Jenny Hagel and Amber Ruffin for a new installment of âJokes Seth Canât Tell.â They covered all the punch lines Meyers canât, like takes on Londonâs new Vagina Museum (âMen are allowed, but they donât know what to do once they get in thereâ), Gladeâs âwarm flannel embraceâ scented candle (âOr as lesbians call it, âfirst baseââ), and Coldstone Creamery offering limited-edition black ice cream for Halloween (âThe ice cream itself it not limited â just societyâs expectations of itâ). Later during the segment, Ruffin and Hagel say theyâve invited a friend to come out and deliver some punch lines about women, after which Gloria Steinem walks out from backstage and joins them all at the desk. âThe makers of the game Monopoly have announced theyâre coming out with a female version of the game called Ms. Monopoly,â Meyers says. âItâs just like regular Monopoly,â Steinem adds, âbut when you pass go you only get $158, and thatâs only if youâre white.â The end of the segment â after the women encourage Meyers to tell one of the jokes â is just what youâd expect: âBlack women and lesbians and feminist icons are liars!â
