Tonight some of the biggest names in fashion gathered at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the 2021 Fashion Awards. Presented by the British Fashion Council alongside TikTok, and hosted by Billy Porter, (hello, outfit!) the night featured lots of awards. Designer of the Year went to Kim Jones for Dior Men and Fendi while the BFC Foundation Award for emerging talent went to Nensi Dojaka, who also won the LVMH Prize for emerging talent in Septemeber.
15 Leaders of Change were also recognized for creating positive change in the fashion industry in one of three categories: Environment, People and Creativity. Virgil Abloh, who passed away yesterday, was remembered and celebrated, as he received the leaders of change award for creativity.
