Yes, the geeks of Freaks and Geeks are staying true to their roots by playing an extremely long game of Dungeons and Dragons (23 years to be exact). Samm Levine and Martin Starr reunite with their friend John Francis Daley, who has now written and co-directed the upcoming film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which comes out March 31. It becomes the most existential game ever played as they try to figure out when they grew a beard, if they’ve fully hit puberty, and if their parents are still alive. While there are no plans for any Freaks and Geeks reboot (at least not any that Seth Rogen will be a part of), at least we know that the game has been inseparable since the ’90s.
