Finally, after months of anticipation, minor awards shows, major awards shows, dresses worn by Demi Moore, and frantic speeches given by Kieran Culkin, it’s time … to declare a winner of the Vulture Movie Fantasy League! Oh, and that means it’s time for the Oscars, too. While we may look back fondly on the moment we found out that Karla Sofía Gascón tweeted a bunch of super-racist things, soon it will all be just a faint memory as M3gan 2.0 stomps all over the 2026 competition. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, and featuring a four-part James Bond tribute, Emilia Pérez went into the evening with the most to lose, with 13 nominations. Zoe Saldana was able to take home Best Actress, but most of the evening’s bigger awards went to Sean Baker’s Anora, which was our awards analyst Nate Jones’s odds-on favorite for Best Picture. Anora’s impressive sweep also mean that Baker, who also produced the film, is the first filmmaker to win four prizes (Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Director, and Best Picture) for one film in Oscars history.
Below, all the winners of the 2025 Oscars.
