BBC Trust

Staff of the Trust Unit support the Chairman and Trustees in their work by providing expert independent advice and administrative support. The unit is clearly separated from the rest of the BBC; to protect their independence, staff working for the Trust report only to the Chairman and Trustees and not to any part of the BBC Executive. The Trust Unit is made up of the Director and five teams, and currently employs about 70 staff.

Location

The Trust’s main office is in central London, in Great Portland Street. Small teams are also located in Birmingham (Mailbox), Belfast (Broadcasting House), Glasgow (Pacific Quay) and Cardiff (Broadcasting House).
