Putting verbs in the future tense

Here are some examples of English verbA word used to describe an action or state of being. which have been put into the future tense: I will go, he will put, Seán will clean, they will eat.
Step 1
To put a verb into the future tense in Irish, remove the ending –igh/aigh/ai/i, if there is one.

- Add fidh to short slender verbs.
