Android
To view programmes in full screen, you may be able to use the 'pinch and zoom' screen gesture. This may not be available on all Android devices, but if it is an option on your phone or tablet, it will allow you to adjust the view between an aspect fit and an aspect fill.
Only seeing playback in portrait mode? Rotate your phone or tablet to landscape and the screen will change with it. You can also use the screen rotation icon next to the playback bar to change the orientation.
Please note, if you have auto rotation switched off, this will prevent the screen from rotating when you move your device, however the rotation icon on the playback screen will still work.
iOS
To view programmes in full screen, you can use the 'pinch and zoom' screen gesture. This will allow you to adjust the view between an aspect fit and an aspect fill.
Only seeing playback in portrait mode? Rotate your iPhone or iPad to landscape and the screen will change with it.
Please note, if you have auto rotation switched off, this will prevent the screen from rotating when you move your device. Check that your screen orientation lock is off by swiping down from the top right of your screen. Tap the orientation icon (circular arrow around a padlock) to switch the lock on and off.
