Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball is reteaming with HBO for an hour-long drama series, this one focusing on the “Southern Vampires” books, a series of supernatural thrillers by Charlaine Harris, set in Bon Temps, Louisiana… . Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, Pi) is in talks to direct Black Flies, a thriller that focuses on a traumatized young EMT worker in Harlem; Aronofsky will also direct several upcoming episodes of ABC’s Lost, to air in May… . Sara Ramirez, who received a Tony Award for her role in Spamalot, has announced she’ll leave the show in mid-December, with Les Miserables alum Lauren Kennedy stepping in… . Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Productions just bought the rights to Art Linson’s book What Just Happened? Bitter Hollywood Tales From the Front Line, which chronicles his days as a movie producer… . The Rolling Stones are teaming with Starbucks to release an album of rare tracks, which will be available at the coffee company’s shops and at music stores starting November 22.
