“I am not a breakfast person,” says Porsena’s Sara Jenkins, whose idea of the ultimate morning meal is Vietnamese pho. That comforting bowl (pictured), along with the Burmese chicken curry called kaukswe, Mexican menudo, and the Moroccan semolina pancake beghrir, will be available at Jenkins’s New Year’s Day “’round the world” brunch, served between the merciful hours of 5 and 9 p.m. Porsena regulars and other pastavores need not fear: Bucatini carbonara will make an appearance, as will eggs with sausage and hash browns, the menu’s token nod to the all-American weekend afternoon (21 E. 7th St., nr.
