What Actress Julia Fox Can’t Live Without

It’s almost like a ChapStick — it has that feel. I like the way it feels on the lips. It’s not too glossy and doesn’t dry them out. The Woppin’ Watermelon is a cute baby pink; it has a very light tint, so it’s kind of noncommittal. You don’t have to commit to that color entirely. I first took it from my sister — my sisters are really big makeup girls, so I’ve always used everything they have. But now, I get it myself. I run through them pretty quickly.

I have rosacea, so my cheeks always look like I have blush on. So I kind of already look like I’m wearing makeup, which is why I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I get my eyelashes done. I get my top lashes done, and then I use waterproof mascara for my bottom lashes. It’s an easy regimen. This is what I use on my bottom lashes. It will match my false eyelashes, and it doesn’t run. I have a problem with mascara running, which is why I get my eyelashes done in the first place. I think I just have naturally oily skin. But this does not run and makes my eyes pop. I’ve tried every single one, and this is what I stuck with.

I’m obsessed. It has a layer of chocolate and then a layer of caramel and then another layer of chocolate and then it’s vanilla ice cream. It’s so good. I could have like three at a time. I don’t have one every day, but maybe once a week. Magnums are very popular in Italy and, growing up, I spent a lot of time there. I’m Italian. I just picked one up, and it’s been a lifelong love affair ever since.

Okay, the brush is amazing. It’s kind of thick, and so soft. The oil itself is very hydrating; it also has a reddish tint. It’s kind of like the Clinique balm in that the color is very light. But I’m more obsessed with the feeling of the brush. It feels very luxe. It’s amazing.

This is the most beautiful color, and it’s very light on the lips. Just a very light veil. I’ve been wearing NARS since I was a teenager, and this is my favorite color. I wear it more at night.

I kind of have a strange addiction to hair dryers. Like on the TV show, where they eat toilet paper or eat the wall or something — I’m addicted to hair dryers. Since I was 8 years old, I’ve used them to fall asleep. I love the white noise. I love the heat. It just puts me right to sleep. (I don’t sleep with one on every night.) All my friends were initially like, “That’s so weird”; now, we’ll have sleepovers and leave a hair dryer on. It’s funny. But I don’t do that with my Dyson because it’s too precious — I do that with my not-as-nice ones. The Dyson has a different motor. It’s hollow and it’s not as loud, but equally effective (for drying), and doesn’t dry out your hair.

I’ll put it on my cheeks, on my eyelids, and sometimes on the Cupid’s bow of my lips. I wear it every day, and every time I wear it people will say, “You look so great today.” Always. I love highlighter.

How I take off whatever makeup I wear. I also use them if I don’t have time to shower in the morning or wash my face — if I’m in a rush, which has been the case for the past few months. I’ll rub one all over my face to take off the night sweats.

This is for those nights before I have something really special. When it’s on your skin, you can feel your skin getting hot; you can feel it activate. It just feels very effective. And then your skin just has an amazing glow and feels really soft for a few days.
