American Girl Adds Cast: Joan Cusack, Chris O’Donnell, Julia Ormond, and Wallace Shawn join cast of HBO’s Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery. Production also casts four children from open calls around country, and let this be just the first of many boldfaced mentions in their careers: Max Thieriot, Madison Davenport, Zach Mills and Willow Smith. Woo Directs Ninjas: John Woo will produce and direct Ninja Gold, developed in conjunction with video-game developer Warren Spector (Deus Ex). Film (and eventual game) will follow a traditional ninja in the contemporary world of the Yakuza and the Russian Mob. The purpose of this ninja will be to flip out and kill people. [HR]

13 Headed to Broadway: Producer Bob Boyett plans to bring Mark Taper Forum hit 13 — about the trials and travails of thirteen 13-year-olds — to Broadway in 2008. Junior Senior’s Second Album, Finally: Rykodisc will release Junior Senior’s second record, Hey Hey My My Yo Yo, in North America. Album, which first came out in 2005, was European hit but never received Stateside release. Album will drop in August and features basically the best song ever, “Take My Time,†featuring B-52’s Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson. [Billboard]
Bollywood Film on Cricket Murder: The death of Pakistani cricket coach Bob Woolmer at the Cricket World Cup this spring will be the springboard for a Bollywood film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Expect singing wickets, dancing googlies, and a murdered coach falling in love. [NYT]
