So far this week, both tearful Britney Spears apologist Chris Crocker and the Million Dollar Strong guys have signed deals to bring their hit viral videos to larger screens. (Crocker’s in discussions with 44 Blue Productions to create his own reality-TV show, and MDS’s Mike O’Connell and Ken Jeong are making a movie for MTV Films, for some inexplicable reason.) The glass ceiling for Internet celebrities is still pretty low — although Lonelygirl15’s Jessica Rose was in that crappy Lindsay Lohan movie, we guess — but as long as desperate entertainment executives are passing out money, we’d like to officially kick off the campaign to give manualist Gerry Phillips his very own television show. Come on HBO — you know this would be better than John From Cincinnati.
